Rock the Vote (the Remix)
You know, they say that it's tough being the younger sibling because of the lofty precedents left to you by your older brother or sister. That may have been the case — in high school — but I have to say that being the older, less talented sibling to a gifted, creatively-minded younger brother isn't a walk in the park.
After mastering the bass guitar in middle school, making the speed dial list of every private school dance coordinator in San Francisco for his mad DJ skills, and spittin' rhymes at Tokyo's hottest nightclubs, he's onto the next stage in his musical development: digital remix and beats composition. (Mind you, he's still a full-time college student at UC Irvine — now do you understand my older sibling complex??) Seriously, listen to this track:
Theophilus London - All Around The World (Flow Zen Dubstep Remix) by FlowZenMusic
Vote for this track at Talenthouse.
I normally don't use this blog as a marketing platform, unless you construe photos of my dog's antics as a public service announcement promoting odd canine behavior, but I'm making an exception because he could really use your help. He's a finalist in a contest that — if he wins — will allow him to work with some serious talent and decision makers in the music industry. And all you have to do is vote for his track which you've just listened to and undoubtedly think is dope (clearly we are from different generations). You can vote twice (once using your Facebook account and once via Twitter), and it will take only seconds out of your day. And the reward? Listening to the radio in the not-so-distant future and hearing the fly beats of an artist you helped get there (I'll throw in some autographs and concert tickets when he makes it big).
Thank you in advance! VOTE NOW
